Since our founding in 2001, we have become the largest international ocean conservation organization. Our science-based, goal-oriented approach has resulted in more than 300 victories that prevent pollution, protect marine life, safeguard underwater habitats, and strengthen fisheries. Because the oceans cover 71% of our planet, a healthy ocean is an important part of the solution to some of the world’s most pressing issues – from climate change to food insecurity.
The New York Gala will take place on September 10, 2024 and will celebrate Oceana’s efforts to protect the oceans. Together, we can restore the ocean’s health and abundance for future generations.
