The Bissagos archipelago, located off the coast of Guinea-Bissau, is one of the most protected places on the planet. Classified as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, it is made up of 88 islands, most of which are uninhabited. During this 8-day circuit you will venture ashore in Zodiac boats to get as close as possible to nature: pale-sand beaches, mangroves, and savannah that are home to birds of prey, pelicans, monkeys, gazelles, sea turtles, manatees, crocodiles, and saltwater hippos. You will also meet the Bidyogo people, whose matriarchal society and way of life has not changed for thousands of years.
