Andrea Bocelli is one of the greatest singing talents in the world today. He is an international, award-winning performer with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Producer David Foster often describes Bocelli’s voice “as the most beautiful in the world.”
Since being discovered by Luciano Pavarotti in 1992, he has sold over 80 million records worldwide, recorded 15 solo studio albums of both pop and classical music, three greatest hits albums, and nine complete operas. Bocelli has collaborated with Placido Domingo, Tony Bennett, Hélène Ségara, Marta Sánchez, Sarah Brightman, Jennifer Lopez, Ariana Grande and Ed Sheeran.
Perhaps his best-known hit is a duet with Brightman, “Con Te Partirò [Time to Say Goodbye].” His release of the classical album Sacred Arias, earned him an entry in the Guinness Book of World Records as he simultaneously held the top three positions on the U. S. Classical Albums charts.”The Prayer,” his duet with Celine Dion for the animated film, Quest for Camelot won the Golden Globe for Best Original Song and was nominated for an Academy Award in the same category.
